On 13 March 2020, because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, all halls closed their doors.<\/p>\n

An emergency that changed our way of life.<\/h3>\n

We also had to change the way we train, coming up with different ways to keep the children fit, motivated and keen from home.<\/p>\n

We gave our children all kinds of tasks, as well as online training sessions.<\/p>\n

The wait for the halls to reopen turned out to be longer than we thought.<\/p>\n

But we never give up!<\/h3>\n

Besides the compulsory home training in general and specific physical preparation, apparatus technique and attempts to practise some elements of their routines, the children had many creative and competitive tasks, because besides their body, an athlete also has to keep up their competitive spirit.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the tasks:<\/h3>\n

"Imitate your favourite gymnast"; "A gymnast's scrapbook"; "Perform a dance on a given theme"; "Act out a fairy-tale character"; "Why I do rhythmic gymnastics"; "Make a collage of all your competitions so far"; "Challenge the coaches"; "My best gymnastics exercise"; "Draw yourself at training", etc.<\/p>\n
