From 18 to 20 October 2017, the National Championship and the "Akademik Cup" International Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Tournament took place in Sofia's Sofia Hall.
TEA DANCE Sports Club took part with two teams.
In the 12–14 age group, our graces won gold medals and became National Champions.
The team: Savina Velkova, Mikaela Branzelova, Bilyana Useva, Andzhela Krasteva, Anita Tsvetanova, Irena Tsvetanova and Maria Damova, coached by Teodora Gramatikova.
At the International Tournament, the 12–14 team reached the final with a score behind the teams from Russia and Finland, and level with the other Bulgarian team. In the final, our graces were determined to perform their routine without errors. Despite the huge pressure, they managed to show everything they are capable of, shot up to second place and became international runners-up.
At the National Championship, the girls from the 10–12 team finished 4th against very strong competition. The team: Dara Krasteva, Valentina Georgieva, Simona Stoilova, Ivana Ivanova, Marina Yolova, Bilyana Zafirova, Dilyana Aleksandrova, Antonia Nikolova and Viktoria Radenkova, coached by Teodora Gramatikova. In the qualifications at the International Tournament, our girls missed the final by just 0.150.
