HISTORY

FROM 2005 TO TODAY

Twenty years of
discipline

From one class in a community centre to three clubs in three towns. From a 15-year-old's first training session to more than 100 medals at national and international competitions. Twenty years of discipline, persistence and love for the sport – this is the story of TEA DANCE.

TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club

2005 2009

In November 2005, a 15-year-old gymnast decided that Elin Pelin deserved a club of its own. Teodora Gramatikova started with a group of children at the "Elin Pelin" community centre — with plenty of enthusiasm and almost nothing else. Thanks to persistence and love for children and the sport

TEA DANCE Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Sports Club

2009 2025

Aesthetic group gymnastics has been in the club's DNA from the very beginning. From 2009 to 2018 our teams competed at the highest level — with medals from tournaments in Spain, Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria, and finalists at a European Championship. After a change in the regulations, the club temporarily paused its aesthetic group gymnastics activity. In 2025, TEA DANCE Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Sports Club was registered and revived this tradition."

TEA SPORT 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club

2013 2018

In 2013, Teodora Gramatikova opened a rhythmic gymnastics section in the village of Gorna Malina — with the idea that sport should not be a privilege of big cities only. The first training sessions, led by her and Latina Tsvetanova, began with Gymnastics for All and gradually moved on to competitive training. In 2015 the club opened a branch in Ihtiman. In 2018, TEA SPORT 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club was founded, with Latina Tsvetanova as chair
