On 1 June, the "Gymnaestrada" zonal championship took place in Pazardzhik. TEA Dance Sports Club took part with one team, made up of gymnasts from Elin Pelin and Gorna Malina.
The routine's theme is "The Journey" – it expresses the idea of unity, that "Unity makes strength": uniting nations through the art of dance and the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. Backed by striking music, costumes and make-up, the routine by coaches Polina Peneva, Tea Gramatikova and Latina Tsvetanova made a big impression. Elena Velkova took care of the costumes.
The girls in the team contributed a great deal to the routine's overall look with their wonderful performance, and won gold medals in their category.
We wish them success at the upcoming "Gymnaestrada" National Championship too, where besides their team, TEA Dance Sports Club will enter one more team – our older girls from TEA DANCE CREW.
