Today, 22.11.2019, the selection for the national junior group took place in Sofia Hall, Sofia.
40 gymnasts from all over the country took part.
For the first time, TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club took part in a national team trial, with two of its gymnasts, Dara Krasteva and Gabriela Krastanova.
Our girls presented their ribbon and ball routines, were tested on ribbon and ball difficulties, and completed a psychological test.
The senior coach of the new junior squad will be Vyara Vatashka, with Tsvetelina Naydenova as her assistant coach.
According to the provisional results, Dara Krasteva is 7th. She has the second-best ball score and is 5th in the apparatus and body test. This is a very good performance for her.
Unfortunately, Gabriela Krastanova made some errors and fell behind in the rankings, but challenges like this are still ahead of her.
Well done to our two girls, their coaches Teodora Gramatikova and Polina Peneva, and their ballet teacher Petar Petkov for taking part in the trial.
We will receive the final results in December, when the new national junior group squad will also be announced!
