The Category B individual National Championship has finished. It was held from 21 to 24 November 2019. A very closely fought competition, with many children and clubs taking part.
In the pre-juniors under 10 age group, our little gymnasts made their individual National Championship debut. Out of 143 children in this category, our little graces placed in the top 30. The best performance came from our artistic soul Hristiyana Leseva, who took 5th place in the all-around and 4th on rope. The other girls placed 27th (Simona Dimova) and 29th (Aleksandra Ivanova). In the team competition we entered two of the 42 teams; here are the results: TEA Dance Team I – 8th place (Hristiyana Leseva and Aleksandra Ivanova); TEA Dance Team II – 18th place (Simona Dimova, Nikol Radenkova and Gergana Krasteva). Nikol and Geri performed one apparatus each at this championship, so they only took part in the team ranking. This was just the beginning of their National Championship career – much more lies ahead. The personal coaches of the girls in this age group are Tsvetelina Atanasova and Latina Tsvetanova.
111 gymnasts and 56 teams competed in the pre-junior age group. Here are our girls' results:
6th place, team – TEA Dance Team I – Natalia Mihaylova and Nikol Lyubenova. 36th place, team – TEA Dance Team II – Lilia Kuzmanova and Dzhulia Karpichi.
