The National Championship for groups in the highest category is over. The Elite National Group Championship took place from 25 to 27 October in Sofia.
For the first time, TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club competed in the Elite group category with a team – in the Senior age group, no less.
Our team performed well for its level of preparation, with small errors, and took 10th place.
Well done to these girls: Andzhela Krasteva, Anita Tsvetanova, Mikaela Branzelova, Maria Damova and Savina Velkova. Well done on the first step in this tough and demanding category, which paves the way for the club's next generation.
These girls showed what a real team is, and how to win and lose with a smile.
In the 10 years they trained, they achieved very good results for such a small club and small town. They are multiple national and international champions in aesthetic gymnastics, European Championship finalists, and national champions in Category B group and individual.
Well done to them and their parents for their perseverance, and for the fact that together we managed to build a long sporting career.
Girls whom we brought up to be not only good athletes but also people of real worth.
For some of them this was their last competition as gymnasts. Some stay on and keep training, others will help out and train as coaches, and others will go a different way – but they will never forget what they learned in the hall.
What matters most isn't the moment you reach the top – it's the road to the top and everything you learn along the way!
We love you, girls!
Good luck!
