Silver and bronze from the Category B National Group Championship 2019

NATIONAL GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP, PRE-JUNIORS AND JUNIORS

The Category B National Group Championship took place in Sofia from 15 to 16 June 2019.
A very good competition for the two TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club teams, which competed today in the pre-junior and junior age groups.

The competition opened with the pre-juniors teams, where 33 teams from all over the country competed. The TEA Dance team – Nikol Lyubenova, Natalia Mihaylova, Ivon Valcheva, Dzhuli Karpichi and Lilia Kuzmanova, with personal coach Tanita Nenkova – won bronze with a good performance.

After this good start, the competition continued with the juniors, where 16 teams competed.
Two error-free routines brought silver medals for the junior group – Marina Yolova, Simona Stoilova, Antonia Tsvetkova, Viktoria Radenkova and Bilyana Zafirova, with personal coach Polina Peneva.

"I am extremely pleased with the work of my coaching team. Very good preparation of the teams and good results. Thank you to Elin Pelin Municipality for the chance to jointly provide suitable competition leotards for each routine. Thank you to Elena Velkova for making the leotards. Thank you to Polina Peneva, Tanita Nenkova and Petar Petkov for their efforts this season and their dedication to the training process. I am glad we managed to stand out and perform well, and that our work was rewarded.
Thank you to the parents for their support throughout the whole preparation cycle.
Thank you to our gymnasts, who despite the difficulties managed to show what they can do.
Of course, there's always room for improvement. :)
But let's enjoy our success, because it's no small one."

NATIONAL GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP, PRE-JUNIORS UNDER 10

Today our girls in the "Pairs and trios with ropes" category performed first.
Viktoria Dimitrova and Kalina Zafirova performed their routine very well and finished in 10th position.
Yoana Mandzhukova and Kristina Chelyo made some inaccuracies in their routine and finished 21st.
Coach of our pairs: Polina Peneva.
A total of 28 teams took part.

Team I pair in pre-juniors under 10 – Yasmina Vicheva and Siyana Baldzhiyska – gave a very good performance, making the top 8 and finishing 6th out of 37 teams.
Zhaklin Toshevska and Vasilena also performed well – despite the errors, they were very sweet.
Coach: Tsvetelina Atanasova

Last but not least, our pre-juniors under 10 groups competed against 44 teams.
A very closely fought competition, with good error-free second routines from both teams, though unfortunately with inaccuracies in the first routines.
Even so, TEA Dance Sports Club's Team II – Latina Tsvetanova's girls Boryana, Dilyana, Aleksandra and Simona – deservedly stepped onto the podium and won bronze.
Tsvetelina Atanasova's girls – Viktoria, Nikol, Tsvetelina, Hristiyana, Gergana and Zlatina – also stood out with good performances and a beautiful routine. However, inaccuracies and a penalty put them in 8th position, which is still no small achievement against 44 teams from all over the country.

Congratulations to coaches Tsvetelina Atanasova, Latina Tsvetanova and Polina Peneva. Thanks to Gorna Malina Municipality and Elin Pelin Municipality for their support.

"We are young, ambitious and ready to fight – above all against ourselves and our own mistakes. We still have a lot to learn, and we don't hide it, but we do our very best to keep up with the requirements of the Code of Points and to prepare beautiful and difficult routines.
For us, mistakes and feedback are part of growing, and strong competition is a pleasure and a motivation."
