Gold for Gabriela Krastanova at the Category A National Championship, and silver and bronze for Nikol Blagoycheva

FROM 27 TO 30 JUNE 2019, THE CATEGORY A INDIVIDUAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR PRE-JUNIORS UNDER 10 AND PRE-JUNIORS TOOK PLACE AT THE KAMCHIA SPORTS AND RECREATION COMPLEX.
We are extremely proud of the success of Gabriela Krastanova and her personal coach Polina Peneva, who won TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club's first Category A gold medal.
A gold medal in the rope final.
Gabi also qualified for the ball final, where she finished 4th.
She was second reserve for the ribbon final.
With clubs, she made small inaccuracies.
That put her 7th in the all-around out of 81 gymnasts from all over the country.
A wonderful performance.
In their first year in Category A and in the pre-junior age group, Tanita Nenkova's gymnasts Gergana Ivanova and Antonia Nikolova competed.
Geri performed her rope and ball routines very well, with small inaccuracies, and was 16th after the first day of competition.
Unfortunately, errors on clubs and ribbon put her 21st in the all-around.
That's no small achievement for a child in Category A for the first time
Antonia Nikolova made quite a few errors on both days of competition, but we believe that with her qualities it's only a matter of more time and persistence on her part, and very soon she will be able to show her potential.
Senior coach Teodora Gramatikova congratulates her team of coaches and her gymnasts on their efforts and their success at this important competition.
Congratulations!
Our Category A debutants in the pre-juniors under 10 age group gave TEA Dance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club a fantastic end to the season.
Well done to our youngest graces, Nikol Blagoycheva and Viktoria Koleva, in pre-juniors under 10, Category A – 5th place in the team competition out of 41 teams from all over the country.
And that was just the start, because today Nikol Blagoycheva and her personal coach Tsvetelina Atanasova deservedly won two medals in the rope and without-apparatus finals.
Silver medal on rope
Bronze medal without apparatus
6th place in the all-around.
Viktoria Koleva and her personal coach Tanita Nenkova also achieved a good result in the team competition and 19th place in the all-around out of 98 children.
Well done, everyone – we can relax ahead of the new season and enjoy the success of the whole team, which we have earned.
After that, we know even harder work awaits us, but that doesn't scare us.
